How to Receive Christ 

God gave his son Jesus so that we could have everlasting life (John 3:16). When you accept Christ, you become a new creation. Here is the ABC method of accepting Christ:

Admit that you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Jesus Christ.

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).

Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again so you could be set free from eternal damnation (1 Corinthians 15).

Confess your sins and repent (turn from your sin) to receive Christ by faith (Romans 10:9-10).

Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said to Him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the light. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). You can accept Jesus thorough prayer. 

Prayer is communication with God; it means you simply talk to God.

Say this prayer: Dear Lord, I know that I have not been living right and I want that to end at this moment. I yield myself to you as a steward of your Word. Forgive me of sins known and unknown. I accept Jesus Christ into my life and as my Lord and Saviour. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer and heartfully meant it then Jesus will come into your life as promised.
